Hannah Zhou
Welcome to my corner of the web!
I’m Hannah, a senior at Harvard studying Computer Science with a secondary in Economics. Some areas I’m passionate about are increasing gender diversity in tech, educational equity, mentorship, quantative finance, and machine learning.
Industry
This summer, I’ll be interning @ Citadel as a SWE Intern on the Legal and Compliance Team working on low-latency optimizations in C++ to ensure regulatory compliance. Last summer, I also interned at Citadel in Global Quantitative Strategies (GQS). Previously, I’ve been @ NVIDIA as a SWE Intern and @ Meta as a MetaU SWE Intern.
Research
Currently, I’m working on causal inference and machine learning research to predict the effect of small class sizes on future earnings with Prof. Rahul Singh. Previously, I’ve been @ Booz Allen as an Analytics Fellow and @ Stanford Prof. Anshul Kundaje’s lab as a Machine Learning Research Intern.
On Campus
I served as the Co-Chair @ Harvard WECode, the largest student-run conference for women in tech in the world. I’ve also been a Case Team Lead @ Harvard College Consulting Group. Most recently, I also joined the Peer Concentration Advising team for the CS Department!
I love exploring new places, playing spikeball on the beach, falling down the rabbit hole of a good book, thrifting, watching random YouTube videos, and having meaningful conversations with friends and family!
